AAEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the B.E. & M.E. programs offered by the Avinashilingam University should have the following eligibility criteria:

For B.E. Programme

Criteria for B.EEligibility for appearing in AAEEE – 2018
AgeCandidate should have a minimum age of 17 years
Educational QualificationA pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination
NationalityOnly Indian nationals can apply for the exam
Minimum MarksSecuring an aggregate of 45% marks with PCM as main three subjects.
Minimum Marks for Reserved CategorySecuring an aggregate of 40% marks with PCM as main three subjects.

For M.E program

Criteria for M.EEligibility for appearing in AAEEE – 2018
Educational QualificationCandidate should possess a bachelors’ degree
NationalityOnly Indian nationals can apply for the exam
Minimum MarksSecuring an aggregate of 50% marks.
Minimum Marks for Reserved CategorySecuring an aggregate of 45% marks.

AAEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: The AEEE 2018 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT). Questions asked will be of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs) based on the syllabus of Class 12th.
  • Duration: The entrance exam will be 90 minutes long.
  • Language: The language of question paper will be in English.
  • No of Questions: A total 90 questions will be asked.
  • Total Marks: The weightage of question paper will be 90 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: The Correct answer will be awarded 1 marks whereas for the incorrect answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.

AAEEE Admit card 2018

The candidates can download admit card only through online mode. The steps are:

  1. Go to the university’s official website: www.avinuty.ac.in.
  2. Head over to the “Examination” section of the website.
  3. Enter the details asked about the application number and click on the submit button.
  4. Download the admit card.

Additional documents required with AAEEE admit card:

While arriving at the exam hall the candidates are required to have an identity proof, which can be one of the following:

  1. Driving licence
  2. Aadhar card
  3. PAN card
  4. Passport
  5. Class 10 certificate
  6. ID proof issued by Gazetted Officer

AAEEE 2018 Result

The result for AAEEE 2018 will be released by the university in the last week of April 2018. The result will be announced on the official website. Candidates can download the result by following these steps:

  1. Go to the official website www.avinuty.ac.in.
  2. Search for the link that says “AAEEE 2018 result”.
  3. Enter the details asked about the application number and click on the submit button.
  4. Download the result card for future reference.

 AAEEE 2018 Counselling

The university will conduct a centralized counseling on its campus in Coimbatore. The qualified candidates can attend the counseling. The qualification will depend on the merit list which will be released on the official website of the University before the commencement of counseling.

All the seats are usually filled in the first round of counseling. However, if in the case of any delay in the admission process by a candidate, the seat remains vacant then the second round of counseling will be done.
