AIBE (All India Bar Examination) is conducted two times in a year i.e. bi-annually by BCI(Bar Council of India).
Basically, this is not an entrance examination for any college or university but this exam is to test the ability and capability of the advocates.
This exam decides whether the advocate is able to practice law in India or not.
The one advocate who fails in this examination is not capable to practice law in India.
Once an aspirant clears AIBE, he/she will be awarded “Certificate of Practice” by the BCI.
This is an open book examination for the lawyers, just to check their analytical skills as well as basic knowledge of the law.

AIBE 2019 Dates

AIBE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have cleared their graduation in L.L.B.
Only advocates can give this examination and they demand a proof under section 24 of the Advocates Act 1961.
This is the only main eligibility criteria for the AIBE.
AIBE 2019 Syllabus
- This exam comprises of 19 topics.
- There is no negative marking in this examination.
- Aspirants have to attempt a total of 100 questions in three hours and thirty minutes duration.
- Maximum marks for the exam is 100 i.e. 1 mark for each correct answer is awarded.
- Candidates have to score 40% to qualify the exam and get a permission from BCI and practice law in India.

AIBE 2019 Application Form
This form can be filled in online as well as in offline mode.
Candidates have to upload the required documents such as the advocate Id, latest photograph. signature, etc.

AIBE 2019 Admit Card
AIBE admit cards are issued by BCI in both the online as well as offline mode.
It is a very important document to enter in the examination hall.
Admit card contains all necessary details such as date, time, venue etc. of the examination. Candidates can’t afford to lose or forget the admit card.
To download AIBE XI admit card online candidates need to provide their enrollment ID and date of birth whereas aspirants who have applied for the exam in the offline mode are sent the hall ticket on their correspondence address.
AIBE 2019 Results
AIBE XI result is declared on the official website of the exam.
The candidate who passes the examination is provided with a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which allows the advocates to practice law in India.
Candidates can check their result for AIBE exam by providing their roll number and date of birth on All India Bar Examination official website.
