AIPVT 2018: All India Pre-Veterinary Test

AIPVT Overview

AIPVTAIPVT stands for All India Pre-Veterinary Test .

It is a national level admission procedure. From 2018, instead of All India Pre-Veterinary Test exam, it was replaced by the NEET exam.

Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will organize admission procedure for providing admission to the BV. Sc. & A.H. degree programme.

It is organized in name of AIPVT 2019. Now, from 2019 the admission to the veterinary courses will be done on the basis of NEET 2019 score.

The admission into this course will be done under the 15 % All India Quota seats (except Jammu & Kashmir).

Under 15% AIQ, total 434 seats are available.

AIPVT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Must be Indian citizen can apply for this exam (except J&K).
Percentage Criteria: Students must have secured 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology
or Biotechnology & English subjects. Pass 10+2 exam with 47.5% total marks (43.5% for SC/ST or other
special categories).
Minimum Age: Students must have completed 17 years age as on or before 31st December 2019.
Maximum Age: The upper age limit is 25 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates) on or
before 31st December 2019
Qualification: Students should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects are compulsory.

AIPVT 2019 Exam Pattern

Negative marking will be applicable in All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2019 and lose 1 mark for each incorrect entry.

The candidate can score 4 marks for each correct entry.

The All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2019 candidates should go through all the information brochure of the All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2019 Exam Pattern to excel in the examination.

There are 180 Multiple Choice Questions in total.

The question paper covers the topics from Physics, chemistry and biology.

AIPVT 2019 Admit Card

All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2019 Admit Card tentatively will be released on April 18, 2018
and are available at official website.


AIPVT 2019 Result

You have to check the result on the official website of All India Pre-Veterinary Test by using their registration number and roll number.

They can access them All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2019 results via these simple steps:

Go to the official website for AIPVT 2019.
Open the ‘Result’ link.
Submit the following details- Registration number, Roll number and Security Pin.
Access your result and take a print-out.


AIPVT 2019 Counselling

It is mandatory for the qualified and eligible candidates to attend the AIPVT 2019 Counselling.

If you want to claim a seat and complete the admission process, you have to participate in the AIPVT 2019 Counselling.

The date and time for the counselling will be released by VCI.

It will be completed in 3 rounds. The last round will be spot counselling round.

VCI conducts the All India Pre-Veterinary Test Counselling and allots the seats on the basis of merit and availability of seats.

The candidate will receive an allotment letter after finishing all the procedures with verification.
