AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University defined certain criteria for enrollment in the UPSEE 2024 entrance exam for candidates who want to join. In the event that a student fails to comply with these criteria and is still in the test, he/she may lose the candidacy at any stage in the examination process.

The following are various parameters that are expected to be met.

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: NRIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are all eligible applicants. Additionally, applicants who are Kashmiri migrants and the children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries may do so.
  • Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions for admission.
  • Qualification: Candidates applying for UG courses must have completed the 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognised board or university. Applicants for postgraduate courses must have completed their graduation.
  • Appearing: Students who are taking their 12th grade exams are eligible to apply for undergraduate courses. Students who are in their final year of their qualifying degree may apply for PG admission.

Qualification Eligibility:

The qualification criteria for the different UPSEE exam courses are provided below:

For MCA, applicants must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

How to Apply for AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 ?

Before filling out a UPTU application form, applicants must read the information bulletin. Please refer to the following details for the application form:

  • Application materials for AKTU/UPTU 2024 will be made available online.
  • The first week of April 2024 to the fourth week of May 2024 will see the release of the AKTU/UPTU 2024 application form for UG (CUET).
  • The application period for AKTU/UPTU 2024 ‘s PG admissions through CUET PG will run from the third week of May to the third week of June 2024 .
  • Fill out the application form with information such as your name, phone number, and academic information.
  • During the application process, candidates must upload their scanned signature and photo.

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Exam Pattern

Understanding the examination pattern is necessary to prepare for the examination accordingly. A comprehensive overview of the question paper includes the number of questions put to the examination, topics covered, markings negative, etc. Paper 1 to Paper 4 would be performed offline while papers 5 to paper 11 would be performed in computer mode. The allocated time would be 3 hours for each paper.

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Admit Card

The admit Card is published online in UPSEE 2024 on the official website upsee.nic.in. UPSEE admit card option will not be allowed to be downloaded after the notified period and no downloads are available after the notified period. Therefore, as soon as they are published, applicants are encouraged to download their admit cards. On the admit card the following details are given:

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Marking Scheme

In the UPSEE 2024 , the total marks scored by the applicant will be determined by the number of questions attempted and the marks awarded. For UPSEE 2024 , the following system of markings applies.

There would be 4 marks for each objective question. If the answer is accurate, marks would be awarded.
More than one answer to a question is considered wrong and, even when one of those marked answers is correct, no marks would be granted in that case.
There would, however, be no negative marking; a record of incorrect answers, marked by the applicant, would be kept separate.


AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Exam Centers

As indicated in the following tables, UPSEE 2024 will take place in different cities. Applicants should choose 3 exam city choices.

  • In 41 cities in Uttar Pradesh and 8 cities outside of UP, the offline exam will be administered at various test centers.
  • Candidates must select one of three UPSEE exam sites in 2024 based on their eligibility to take the exam.

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Syllabus

For different courses, the UPSEE curriculum is separate. The curriculum of the UG courses will be 10 + 2 and the curriculum of the PG courses is graduation level.

For B.Tech courses, the syllabus comprises topics from physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects.

For the B.Pharma program, topics are asked from physics, chemistry, and biology subjects.

For PG courses, the syllabus is asked from the respective graduation subjects.

For the examination, applicants should prepare in accordance with the formal curriculum prescribed.

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Answer Key

AKTU will be releasing UPSEE 2024 Answer key, i.e. upsee.nic.in. The officials will also publish official exam papers and responses together with the answer keys. UPSEE 2024 results will be announced depending on the applicant’s performance in the admissions test. AKTU posts outcomes on its official website for UPSEE 2024 . Depending on the performance of the candidate, the authority will release a separate merit list for the various courses.  Qualifying applicants will be able to check the UPSEE scoreboard and merit list on the website by providing their birth date and roll number. Applicants may then participate in the counseling process after that. Registration of UPSEE Counselling will begin in the second week of June 2024 .

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Cut off

The mark cut-off percentage for qualified candidates’ merit is 25 percent (20 percent for SC/ST category candidates). Applicants who meet the criteria for the UPSEE Cut off would be invited to the counseling round.

AKTU/UPTU (UPSEE) 2024 Counselling

A merit list will be prepared based on the rank obtained by the applicant in UPSEE 2024 . Applicants achieving top scores would be placed higher on the merit list whilst those scoring poor grades would float down.

For the document verification process, applicants who will appear on the merit list would be called upon. Following the document verification, applicants will be permitted to partake in the locking process of registration and choice.

The UPSEE 2024 counseling procedure will start from the 4th week of June 2024 . UPSEE counseling would be done on the basis of the applicant’s performance in the UPSEE 2024 merit list as well as the candidate’s choice locked at the time of the choice process.

The procedure for counseling is as follows:

Online Registration:

Before attending the counselling session, candidates must first register online. It will begin in July or August of 2024 . Candidates must enter their application number and password to register for counselling. Candidates must pay a counselling fee of Rs. 1000 during registration. The payment for the fee will be made online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

Verification of Documents:

Candidates must upload a scanned copy of each document or certificate after paying the fee. Each document must not exceed 200 KB in size. The university must conduct an online verification of the applicant’s credentials. Candidates who fall under the OBC category will receive their caste certificate in August 2024 .

Online selection filling:

The “Choice Filling & Locking” link will be activated right away on the login page after a successful fee payment and transaction are updated at the NIC server of UPSEE 2024 . Candidates must select the colleges and courses that best suit their preferences. Candidates must choose from all available options. Applicants should lock the selected options for a predetermined amount of time. If not, the system will automatically lock the choices made by the applicants at the end of the specified time.

Seat Distribution:

Candidates must enter their “Application Number” and “Password” in order to view the results of the seat allocation. Additionally, candidates will be able to download their letter of seat assignment for admission. Subject to the order of preference given for the seats, the seat allocation will be done based on UPSEE merit and seat availability. No change in the branch or institution will be permitted after seat allocation.

Reporting:

Candidates must report to the designated college within a certain amount of time after the announcement of the seat allocation results. If candidates fail to show up at the designated college by the deadline, their seats will be automatically canceled. The following candidate will then be given the seat.
