BVP CET 2020 is known as Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test.

It is conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth University every year which is a Deemed University, for admission to its various UG & PG courses.

BVP CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

In this section, Applicants can find the eligibility criteria to apply for the BVP CET 2020 entrance exam:

Engineering Course:

  • Qualification: The Applicants appearing/passed 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board and Applicants that have passed diploma or its equivalent exam can apply for the exam.
  • Subject Combination: It is mandatory to have Physics and Mathematics in qualifying exam along with optional subjects being chemistry or biology or Biotechnology or Technical or Vocational subjects.
  • Marks in Qualifying Examination: The Applicants are required to have an aggregate 50% marks in their qualifying examination. (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Nationality: Indian National/Foreign National/PIO/OCI/NRI Applicants can apply for the examination.

MCA Course (3 years Full time/Lateral entry):

  • Age: The university has not defined any provision for the age limit.
  • Qualification for full-time MCA: A minimum of 3-year bachelor degree in Mathematics is mandatory at 10 + 2 level or at the graduate level.
  • Qualification for MCA (Lateral Entry): The Applicants should have a minimum of 3-year bachelor degree in BCA, BCS, B. Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics being the prime subject at 12th class or at the graduate level.
  • The Applicants appearing can also apply for the examination.
  • Marks in Qualifying Examination: The candidates are required to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.
  • Subject Combination: The subject in which the candidates are required to qualify the exam is Mathematics.

MBA Course:

  • Age: University has not defined any age limit for applying for the examination.
  • Qualification: The Applicants holding any bachelor or masters degree are eligible for the examination.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply.
  • Marks in Qualifying Examination: The university has set criteria for minimum 50% marks aggregate (45% for SC/ST Applicants) in the qualifying exam in order to apply for the exam.
  • Nationality: The Applicants must be Indian National.

For PG Medical Course:

  • Qualification: The Applicants are required to have an MBBS degree from any recognized medical college in India with a one-year mandatory rotating internship on or before April 2020.
  • Marks in Qualifying Examination: The Applicants are required to have a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category) in the MEDPET 2020.

For PG Dental Course:

  • Qualifying Exam: The Applicants must have a BDS degree from any recognized dental college in India.
  • Internship: The candidates have to complete the one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before March 2020.
  • Marks in Qualifying Examination: The Applicants are required to have a minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST Applicants) in the DENPET 2020.

  • The Applicants can fill the application form for the respective course they have chosen by logging into the website.
  • The final date for submission varies depending on the course, so the Applicants have to make sure they submit the application form for their desired course before the last date of submission.
  • Depending on the course an application fee will be charged to the Applicants, which can be paid via online mode.
  • The Applicants have to submit the application form print to the University along with entrance test fee.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee for every course might be different.
  • Once paid the application fee is cannot be refunded under any condition.
  • The payment mode for the application fee is net banking/credit card/debit card.

BVP CET 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern details for various courses of BVP CET 2020 are given here:

  • Exam Mode: The mode in which the exam will be conducted is the offline mode. (Pen and Paper Based Test)
  • Questions Type: The question paper will comprise of Multiple Choice Type Questions.
  • Exam Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours except for MCA/MBA exam for which it will be two and half hours.
  • Language: The language of the question paper will be only in English.
  • Total Questions: In the written test there are a total 200 questions.
  • Marking Scheme: Each question will be of 1 mark.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.

BVP CET 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus for BVP CET 2020 is defined by the Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University which varies depending on the type of exam the candidate is applying.

For Engineering: The syllabus generally consists of Physics and Mathematics of class 12th.

BVP CET 2020 Admit Card

In this section, the Applicants will find the details related to the BVP CET 2020 admit card:

  • The university will issue the admit card to the candidates after the application submission process has been finished.
  • For B-MAT the admit card will be available after submission of application as for other courses the admit card will be available a week before the examination.
  • The Applicants might receive the admit card in their Email ID provided during filling of application.
  • The admit card will contain all the important details like exam venue, day and date of exam.
  • It is important to keep the admit card safe until the examination process is over.
  • The Applicants are required to bring their admit card with them during the exam failing to do so will result in expulsion from the exam.

BVP CET 2020 Result

In this section, the Applicants will find the details related to the BVP CET 2020 result:

  • The university will announce the result for BVP CET 2020 a few days after the exam. (For B-MAT the result will be declared once the written test and PI&GD round has been completed).
  • The Applicants will be able to check their result by logging into university official website.
  • The Result for B-MAT and B-CAT is to be announced on April 2020.
  • The Result for B-Tech will be announced on June 2020.
  • After the result, a merit list will be released depending on the marks scored by the Applicants in the examination.
  • The Applicants will get admission on the basis of that merit list.

BVP CET 2020 Counseling

In this section, the Applicants will find the details related to the BVP CET 2020 selection procedure:

  • The counseling process will start after the release of the merit list.
  • The university will release the counseling schedule on its website.
  • The candidates qualifying the merit list will be called for the counseling.
  • The candidates are required to be present in person at the time of counseling.
  • The candidates should carry all the important documents along with them while going for the counseling.
