The entrance examination will be conducted for the admission of the BAMS/BHMS courses for the academic session 2019. To apply for the admission, candidates need to fill the application form which will be made available on the official website of CEEAH  Gauhati at

There is only 50 number of seats for the  BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course and 150 seats for BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) course.

CEEAH 2019 will be conducted on all India basis in various centres across India.

CEEAH 2019 Eligibility Criteria

In this section, you will find the eligibility criteria led down by the CEEAH, 2019 only the students that qualify the criteria will be able to apply for the exam.

  • Before filling the application form of CEEAH 2019, candidates must have a look at the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the CEEAH.
  • The candidate must have to pass the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects.
  • Should have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually
  • Candidate’s age should not be below 17 years and above 24 years of age on the 31st December 2019 and
  • A candidate must secure a minimum of 50% marks in case of General/Unreserved/Open Category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC Category in the CEEAH-2019.

Exam Pattern for CEEAH 2019

In this section, candidates will find the CEEAH 2019 exam pattern:

The Common Entrance Examination for Ayurveda and Homeopathy shall be conducted in a bilingual language that is either English and Assamese. The questions in the paper will be based on the NCERT syllabus adopted by AHSEC, Assam. Candidate will get 3 hrs for examination. The exam pattern consists of a number of questions, maximum marks, duration, negative marking are mentioned below in the table:

CEEAH 2019 Application Form
  • The candidates who are willing to apply for the have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 as prescribed by the University.
  • The CEEAH 2018 Application form shall be released in the 3rd week of July 2019. The application form will be filled via online mode only. There may be no option to apply through offline mode.
  • The registration shall be completed in multiple steps as registration, uploading the photograph and signature in the correct format, dimensions, and size as mentioned by the authority.
  • The applicants must fill in the details in the registration form such as personal information, contact details, educational qualifications etc. At last candidates have to pay the application fee in the e- challan or whichever method of paying is available. All the candidates need to take a printout of the filled in application form for the future use.

CEEAH Gauhati 2018 Admit Card

The university will issue the admit card after the slot booking process has been completed in the 4th week of July 2019, the admit card will be available on the university official website, the candidates need to have booked a slot, no admit card will be issued to candidates who didn’t book their slot. The candidates need to carry the admit card with them while appearing for the examination, failing to do so will result in expulsion from the exam. The admit card will contain all the important details like candidate name, roll no, venue of the exam, date & time.

CEEAH Gauhati 2018 Result

After the successful commencement of exam, the university will publish the result on their official website in the 4the week of August, the students will be able to download the admit card from university website using their application number & date of birth. After the result has been announced a list will be released for the candidates shortlisted for counselling.
