The COMEDK UGET 2020 was conducted on 19th August 2020. Due to Pandemic COVID-19, the exam was conducted under standard protocols by following physical distancing norms and ensuring the safety of candidates & staff members as well. But at a few centers, some candidates have complained against the administration for not following proper safety protocols.
The COMEDK UGET 2020 was held in 2 shifts, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (first shift) & from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (second shift). The exam was held online i.e. computer-based test. Based on the candidate’s review & analysis, the COMEDK 2020 exam analysis was as follows:
The COMEDK UGET 2020 result will be declared soon after the declaration of the final answer keys.
Based on the candidate’s review & analysis of the COMEDK 2018, the exam paper of this year was a mixture of all types of questions i.e. easy, moderate, and difficult. The questions from the English & Chemistry sections were almost easy. However, the questions from the Physics section were reasonable & doubtful. The level of Mathematics questions was considered to be difficult. The legitimacy of the Chemistry section was less than that of Mathematics. The rank of the candidates, slipped down for the difference 1-1 mark.
The challenging factor was managing the time for the COMEDK exam within the allotted time. The updates regarding the COMEDK Answer Keys will be provided in the section of the COMEDK Sample Paper.
The questions asked in the COMEDK are based on the syllabus of 10+2 NCERTs of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. So first of all, candidates should prepare the NCERTs well to clear the COMEDK.
Here we have provided a few tips & tricks of preparation that are helpful for all those candidates to want to crack this exam on the first attempt.
Tip 1: Get familiarized with the syllabus of COMEDK. Knowing the syllabus means knowing all the topics that are important for the exam. Try to identify the important topics and their sub-topics for each section.
Tip 2: By giving priority to the subjects, prepare a good study plan. Some topics may be time-consuming and some may be lesser time taking. For the weaker section, give first priority to that section and for the stronger section, give the post priority and try to make it the strongest.
Tip 3: In your study plan, fix an hour for revision only. Because revision is the key to ace the exam. Candidates can also prepare a short note for last-minute revision before the exam.
Tip 4: Since the exam, syllabus is the same as the syllabus of NCERTs so it is recommended to prepare the NCERTs well of XI and XII standards.
Tip 5: While studying, make a formula chart for all the sections such as Maths, Chemistry & Physics, and learn the formulae daily.
Tip 6: Before sitting for the COMEDK exam, try to attempt a mock test as much as you can to experience the pressure of the exam. Get familiar with the nature and different types of questions asked in previous year’s papers.
First of all, to clear the basic concepts and fundamentals, candidates have to read the NCERTs thoroughly. However, you can purchase some other standard books for practice, solving mocks, solving previous year’s papers, etc.
