JMI EEEJMI EEE 2018 is Jamia Milia Islamia Engineering Entrance Examination, which is conducted every year by Jamia Milia Islamia University for admission to the various engineering courses.

Jamia Milia Islamia(JMI) offers admission in B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses through this examination.

The candidates who want to get admission in engineering courses can apply for the exam.

JMI EEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

In this section, you will find the eligibility criteria led down by the Jamia Milia Islamia University , only the students that qualify the criteria will be able to apply for the exam.

B.Tech.

  • Examination: Appearing in JEE Mains Paper-I 2018 is mandatory.
  • Qualification: Candidates must pass class 12th from any recognized boards with subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Percentage: Candidates must have a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Year of Passing: Candidates must pass 12th in the year 2016, 2017, or appearing in 2018.
  • Diploma: Candidates with a diploma, with at least 55% aggregate, can also apply.
  • Age Limit: Candidates should not be less than 17 years on the 1st of October 2018.

B.Arch.

  • Examination: Appearing in JEE Mains Paper-II 2018 is mandatory.
  • Qualification: Candidates must pass class 12th from any recognized boards with subjects: Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics.
  • Percentage: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics.
  • Diploma: Candidates with 3-year diploma, with at least 50% aggregate, can also apply.

JMI EEE 2018 Exam Pattern

JMI EEE 2018 will be taking admission on the basis of JEE Mains 2018 marks and rank. So, the candidates who are seeking admission in Jamia Milia Islamia must be appearing in the JEE Mains 2018.

Given below is the pattern of JEE Mains 2018 paper.

Paper 1 (BE / B.Tech):

  • Course: Paper-1 is conducted for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses.
  • Exam Mode: The exam mode for paper 1 will be offline (PBT) as well as online (CBT). Candidates can opt any one of the modes as per their suitability.
  • Subjects: The paper-1 will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
  • Number of Questions: 30 questions will be asked from each subject with a total of 90 questions comprising of 360 marks.
  • Type of Questions: Only objective type questions will be asked in Paper-1.
  • Language: For all exam cities, the question paper medium choice will be English & Hindi (except exam centre cities in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where choices for question paper will be English, Hindi and Gujarati). The choice for question paper should be exercised while filling up the application form.
  • Exam Duration: The time duration will be 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will be provided with +4 marks for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: In the case of the wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

Paper 1 has the objective type questions with equal weight to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning):

  • Course: Paper-2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning courses.
  • Exam Mode: The exam mode for this paper will be offline (PBT) mode.
  • Number of Questions: 30 questions will be asked in Mathematics (Part-1), 50 questions in aptitude test (Part-2) and 2 questions in drawing comprising of total 390 marks.
  • Type of Questions: The Mathematics and Aptitude test section will contain objective type questions. Drawing test will be subjective.
  • Language: For all exam cities, the question paper medium choice will be English & Hindi (except exam centre cities in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where choices for question paper will be English, Hindi and Gujarati). The choice for question paper should be exercised while filling up the application form.
  • Exam Duration: The time duration will be 3 hours.

Please note that Paper 1 will be held in offline and online modes, both. Whereas Paper 2 will be held only offline.

JMI EEE 2018 Application Form

The application form for JMI EEE 2018 is already available.

The forms are available from 5th of December 2017.

  • The application form is to be filled online.
  • Fill the details in the application form very carefully.
  • Candidates must also have to upload a passport size photograph while submitting the application form.
  • The application fee is to be paid online.
  • Application fee:
    • Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card/ATM card
    • The application fee is Rs. 550
    • Application fee can also be paid through Challan at any branch of State Bank of India.


JMI EEE 2018 Syllabus

Students aspiring for Jamia Milia Islamia must prepare for JEE Mains 2018.

Since the JEE Main 2018 is comprised of two parts i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2, therefore the syllabus is also unique to each part.

For Paper 1 the syllabus is chapters covering physics, chemistry and mathematics from class 11 and 12 standards of various boards like CBSE, ICSE, etc.

For Paper-2 syllabus, the syllabus is chapters covering Mathematics, aptitude test and drawing. The detailed syllabus will be released by the CBSE in near future.


JMI EEE Mains Counseling 2018
  • The counseling procedure will start in the last week of July 2018.
  • Counseling fee is also to be paid.
  • Here is the list of documents required at the time of counseling:
    • 10thmark sheet and passing certificate.
    • 12thmark sheet and passing certificate
    • JEE Main 2018 Admit Card and Rank Card.
    • Character certificate.
    • Medical certificate.
    • Category certificate (if applicable).
    • PWD Certificate (if applicable).
    • ID proof such as Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License etc.
    • Recent passport size photographs.
