The Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences has released the KEE 2023 Application Form in December 2022. KEE 2023 is the Karunya Entrance Examination a Deemed University proclaimed under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, which was subsequently renamed Karunya University, or Karunaya Institute of Technology and Sciences. It is certified by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) as ‘A Grade.’

The full form of KEE is the Karunya Entrance Examination, which is performed by the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, for students who aspire to be admitted to UG and PG courses. It is a test at the university level and is usually conducted once a year. The courses provided by the university cater to different streams, such as aerospace engineering, food processing

The results of the Karunya Entrance Examination 2023 will be released by the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (considered to be a university). KEE’s 2023 results will be available online at karunya.edu. By providing the application number and registered mobile number, applicants can verify the KEE outcome. KEE 2023 Application Form

Only in online mode will the KEE application form be accessible. To apply for the exam, applicants must go to the university’s website and fill in the application form according to the schedule specified. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for KEE 2023 can finish the application process. The application form will be published online by the Authority on December 2022 and must be submitted by applicants before the deadline.

The application form can be filled out on the official website by applicants seeking admission to the course. At the time of enrollment, applicants have to give their course choices. For enrollment, they have to fill in their name, mail ID, and email ID and 10+2 marks. As the application number and passcode will be sent to the approved mail ID and mobile number, applicants are suggested to fill valid and correct information. In order to fill out the form, applicants must use their application number and password. In order to reserve their seat in the preferred stream at Karunya University, the applicant has to pay their initial fees.

Application Fee

The registration fee of Rs.1000 or Rs.2400 must be paid by the applicants (in the case of international candidates). It is possible to pay the application fee via online and offline mode. Via debit, credit, and net banking, online payments will be made.

The fee can also be charged through DD, which should be drawn in favor of ‘The Registrar, University of Karunya, payable at Coimbatore.’

KEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

In order to get admission to different engineering programs, the university has established certain conditions and requirements that an applicant should fulfill. In the event that the candidate fails to meet the KEE 2023 eligibility criteria decided by the Authority, the candidate’s application will be denied.

Here are the comprehensive eligibility criteria for the KEE exam:

Age Limit: As of 1 July 2023, applicants should not be over 21 years of age.

Qualification:

For B.Sc. Horticulture: Should have passed class 12th with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PC Forestry/ Inter Agriculture (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) with a minimum aggregate of 60%

For all B.Tech programs (expect Biotechnology & Food Processing Technology): Students who have passed the 12th class exam in physics, chemistry and mathematics with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate may apply for KEE. OR passed class 12th Vocational Stream,  With any one of the engineering subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with at least 60 percent marks.

Biotechnology & Food Processing Technology: Those who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Computer Science with 60% marks OR have completed class 12th exam with minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for these courses.

For B.Sc. Agriculture: Should have passed class 12th with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ Agriculture (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) with a minimum aggregate of 60%

KEE Admit Card 2023

Candidates who fill their application form before the last date will have access to an admit card for KEE 2023. KEE Result 2023

The result of KEE 2023 will be revealed by the authorities on the official website. Applicants who have qualified for the examination are eligible for further rounds of enrollment. Is there only an online mode for checking KEE 2023 results?

Yes, only the result/scorecard will be released on its official website by the officials at KEE.

Is there any negative marking provision in the KEE Exam?

Yes. In KEE 2023, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

I am 20 years 6 months as on 1 July. Can I apply?

Yes, you are eligible to apply as the applicants have to be less than 21 years (as on 01 July 2023).

What is the revised counselling process for KEE?

Applicants are required to receive provisional admission via the counselling portal. Submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) form, pay the initial counseling fee, and download the provisional order of admission. You’ll get an acknowledgement on the basis of your KEE 2023 and HSC marks.

What is the marking scheme for KEE?

One mark will be allotted for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

What is the application fee?

The application fee will be INR 1000 for Indian nationals. For foreign nationals and NRI candidates, the fee will be USD 60.

Can the registration fee paid through DD?

No. The registration form fee can be paid using online payments and electronic payment, but not through DD.

Can an applicant modify the selected exam centre?

No. The exam centre once selected cannot be changed.

What is the minimum requirement required to apply for an exam by an applicant?

With Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects, an applicant must have acquired a minimum of 50 percent aggregate in their class XII/ PUC 2nd year.

If an applicant intends to cancel his/her admission, will the admission fee be refunded?

Yes. According to the rules and regulations, the admission fee will be refunded. Applicants are only eligible for reimbursement if they apply on or before the final date.

How much refund can be allowed to the candidates?

If he/she requests a refund within 15 days of enrollment, an enrolled applicant can get a refund of 80 percent of the fee. Within 16 to 30 days of enrollment, 50 percent of the fee can be refunded. If an applicant asks for a refund after 30 days of enrollment, no fee can be refunded.

Is it possible to fill out the application form in offline mode?

No, you cannot fill out the application form in offline mode. Applicants can get the application form on the university’s official website.
