KLMEE 2023 Application Process

In the online mode, the KLMEE application form can be filled out via the official website. KLMEE is for two disciplines. First is for courses in engineering and marine sciences involving physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM). The second is for medical courses called KLMEE B, including physics, chemistry and biology (PCB). The application filling procedure is for applicants who have science as their main subject in the 11th and 12th classes. The communication is done via SMS or mail after the application form is filled in. Therefore it is recommended that at the time of applying for KLMEE, the valid email id and phone number should be provided.

• The KLMEE Application Form will be available from the 1st week of February 2023 and those candidates seeking to be admitted to these courses will be capable of filling out the online application form by visiting the website.
• First of all, candidates have to go to the KL Marine Entrance Examination’s official website.
• Applicants must register themselves by submitting in the requested field their name, father’s name, mobile number, email ID, and date of birth.
• Applicants will be provided with login details, such as ID and password, to complete the application form.
• Candidates should fill out and submit the application form with all the correct and complete details.
• They have to upload their scanned documents, such as photos and signatures, to the application form in the required field.
• Applicants should pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking service at the time of submission of the application form.

KLMEE 2023 Application Fee

Only after payment of the registration fees shall the application form for KLMEE be deemed completed. For KLMEE 2023, the registration fee is INR 1000/-. The fee of the registration form is non-refundable and non-transferable once it has been paid.

KLMEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the test, it is absolutely necessary to check KLMEE’s eligibility. Applicants who are ineligible will not be accepted in the application form and their candidacy will be cancelled. Even if they have cleared the exam and are found ineligible in the later stages, then it is a loss of the money and time. For verification of eligibility, refer to the points below:

Course 1: B.Sc Nautical Science 

• With at least 60% of the aggregate marks, the applicant must have cleared 12th. In addition, 50 percent of marks are mandatory in English at the 10th and 12th standards.
• As of the time of registration of the training program, the applicant should not be over 25 years of age.
• Applicants must be fully qualified with 6/6 eyesight. Applicants must not be color blind.

Course 2: B.tech. Marine Engineering

• With at least 60% of the aggregate marks, the applicant must have cleared 12th. In addition, 50 percent marks are mandatory in English at the 10th and 12th standards.
• As of the time of registration of the training program, the applicant should not be over 25 years of age.
• Applicants must be medically fit with 6/6 eyesight. Applicants should not be color blind.

Course 3: Medical and Engineering field

• For Bachelor’s in aeronautical, aerospace, automotive, electronics and electrical, information and mechanical engineering, the candidates should have passed the 12th standard with 50 percent marks in PCM.
• Candidates should have passed the 12th standard for Bachelor’s of Pharmacy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Medical Laboratory Technician, Physiotherapy, and Naturopathy and Yogic Science with 50 percent marks in PCB.

• Examination Mode: There is an Offline (pen & paper mode) mode.
• Types of Exams: There are two papers in KMLEE. The first one is for courses in engineering and marine sciences involving physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM). The second is for courses in medicine involving physics, chemistry and biology (PCB).
• Duration of the Examination: The total time given is 1.5 hours.

KLMEE 2023 Admit Card

The KLMEE hall ticket / admit card is an essential document because it is the entrance ticket to the examination center. Without a legitimate hall ticket, no applicant is permitted to enter the exam hall. There is no clause to send the applicants an admit card via post. Therefore the only way of getting it is to access the hall ticket online. The admit card is evidence that the payment of the application form was made by the applicant. It is suggested that the admit card be preserved until the admission process comes to an end.

Important Instructions for KLMEE 2023 Exam Day
