MAT 2019: Management Aptitude Test

mat MAT is Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2019). It is a national level exam which is conducted every year by the All India Management Association; the authority conducts the exam four times in one year.

Through MAT entrance examination, the admission will be offered in two management courses such as MBA and PGDM.

Many B-Schools of India consider the MAT score for providing the admission in their campuses. It is conducted in February, May, September, and December months.

MAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

In this section, you will find the eligibility criteria led down by the MAT 2019, only the students that qualify the criteria will be able to apply for the exam:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India
  • The candidate must be graduate from any recognized university which is established by the Indian law.
  • Students in last year of their course can also apply for the examination.

MAT 2019 Exam Pattern

MAT 2019 question paper will be based on the MAT exam pattern which will be an objective type test with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The MAT 2019 exam pattern will be divided into a different section of the syllabus.

The 5 test sections of MAT 2019 exam will be based on Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment.

There will be five sections in MAT question paper will have a total of 200 questions in MCQ format to be solved in 150 minutes. The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours, one mark is allotted for every correct answer, and there is a negative marking of 1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.

MAT 2019 Syllabus

The syllabus for MAT will be from the subjects mentioned below:

  • The Language Comprehension
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Data Analysis & Sufficiency
  • Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
  • Indian & Global Environment

To score well in the exam the applicants must study the topics mentioned above in depth. The authorities will not release any particular syllabus for the exam.


MAT 2019 Application form

The candidates qualifying the eligibility criteria will be able to register for the exam, In this section, the candidates will find all the details about MAT 2019 Application Form:

  • The MAT 2019 registration can be done only via online mode.
  • The registration will be started from the third week of December 2018 for the February exam.
  • The candidates will be able to apply for the MAT 2019 February exam by the last week of January 2019 for PBT and second week of February 2019 for CBT.
  • The applicants should fill all the information correctly and upload their images of photograph and signature in proper format.
  • Candidates will have to mention the five institutions where they would like to send their MAT score card for admission.
  • Candidates can check their application status after a few days of the application form submission date.
  • Once the application form has been filled, the fee for application form has to be paid Rs. 1550.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee using a debit card, credit card, net banking or bank Challan.


MAT 2019 Admit Card

The authority will release the admit card in the last week of January 2019.

Candidates can log in to the official university website to download the admit card.

During the day of the exam, the candidates should have the hall ticket with them, doing otherwise might result in their expulsion from the exam.

The admit card will contain all the important details like candidate name, roll no, venue of the exam, date & time.

The candidate also needs to keep admit card for future reference after the examination for taking the result out.


MAT Result 2019

After the successful commencement of exam, the authority will publish the result on their official website after one or two weeks of the examination date, the students will be able to download the admit card from the official website using their roll no & date of birth.
