NCHMCT was established in 1982 and since 2019.

NCHMCT JEE stands for National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination, it is also known as NHCM JEE. NCHMCT JEE is a national-level joint entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to offer admission in B.Sc. HHA (hospitality and hotel administration) programs. Till 2018, an autonomous body NCHM & CT (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology which comes under the Ministry of Tourism, GOI) was conducting the NCHMCT JEE exam but now from 2019 onwards, NTA is conducting the NCHMCT JEE.
As per the data of last year, 32,603 applicants had been taken part in NCHMCT JEE. NCHMCT JEE 2023 is assumed to be held in August and notification will likely be released in January.

The application form of NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be available online from February 2023 on the official website. After the complete registration process of the NCHMCT JEE application form, the NTA will avail the correction facility to make changes in the exam city. After the complete registration process of NCHMCT JEE, the aspirants will have to pay the online application fee. The unreserved/ OBC category candidates will be charged Rs. 1000/ while SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender candidates will be charged Rs. 450/ and EWS candidate will have to pay Rs. 700/ for NCHMCT JEE 2023 application fee. The payment of the application fee can be performed either via credit or debit card.
To fill the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application form aspirants will have to follow the below-mentioned steps.
To apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2023, first of all, aspirants will have to register themselves on the official website by providing personal details like Name, DoB, and other required details.
After the completion of the NCHMCT JEE 2023 registration process, aspirants will have to provide some major details related to them in the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application form such details are Preferred Test City, Aspirant’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Category, Communicational Address, Date of Birth, Email id, Contact No., and qualifications details, etc. After providing the necessary details either the aspirant can reset the form or can submit the form as per their need and choice.
In the next step, aspirants have to upload the scanned copy of the signature & passport size photo. The photograph of the aspirants should be very clear with a light-colored or black/white background.

The application fee for NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be paid via online mode only. In order to pay the application fee for NCHMCT JEE 2023, aspirants will have to choose the payment mode from either Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ PayTM/ UPI Payment.

Note: Earlier, the application fee for NCHMCT JEE could be paid offline also using challan but now due to the COVID-19 pandemic it has been discontinued across the country.
After making the successful payment of the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application fee, the aspirants can download the Confirmation Page. If in case, the system will not generate the confirmation page after making the payment then the fee amount will be refunded into the aspirant’s account and the transaction will be deleted. In this case, aspirants have to make another payment using the same mode or a different mode of payment until the confirmation page is generated.
After completing the payment process, the system will generate an automated application number. Now, after the generation of the automated application number aspirants will have to keep the printout safe for upcoming procedures of admission. Once the application fee will be submitted then aspirants will be notified about the confirmation. After the submission of the application form, no modification in the details will be entertained.

Before you start to fill out the NCHMCT JEE 2023 application form, you should check the required eligibility criteria first. The most common eligibility conditions required to apply for NCHMCT JEE are given below.
Nationality: The nationality of the aspirants should must be an Indian.
Age Limit: For Unreserved and OBC Category aspirants, the maximum age limit is 25 years while SC/ST aspirants, should be 28 years as of July 01, 2023.
Qualification: The minimum required qualification to apply for the NCHMCT JEE is a class XII pass from a recognized Institute/ Board with English as a mandatory subject along with other subjects.
Medical Fitness: The aspirants should be physically and mentally fit and they have to produce a medical fitness certificate.
NOTE- All the aspirants must have to produce and submit the certificate of physical fitness that should be approved by a registered medical practitioner in the particularized form as mentioned in the information brochure on the official website.
NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be CBT (Computer Based Test). There will be only a single exam of 3 hours of duration and consisting of 200 questions. The medium of question paper will be bilingual for all the sections except the English section. The type of questions will be MCQs i.e. Multiple Choice Questions. For every right response, the aspirants will be awarded 4 marks however for every incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total marks. The overview of the Exam Pattern is given below:

The complete NCHMCT JEE syllabus has been decided by the authorities of NCHMCT and will be available on the official website to download. The revised syllabus, it has totally different 5 sections namely, Reasoning and Logical Deductions, Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Aptitude for the service sector, English language, and General Knowledge & Current affairs.
To strengthen all sections, you have to read some basic books such as for the Reasoning section you can refer to RS Aggarwal’s book, for the English section refer to Pearson’s English, and Wren & Martin, for the Numerical Ability section, refer to by RS Aggarwal and for Aptitude of the Service, Sector refers to R Sharma’s book. In this section, you will get the details about NCHMCT JEE 2023 admit card/ hall ticket. The Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for the exam will be issued through virtual mode.
The admit card of NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be released tentatively in the first week of April month. The aspirants who have successfully register for the exam will able to access the NCHMCT JEE 2023 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket only from the official website. The admit card will be downloadable by providing the details such as User ID & Password.
It should be remembered that the admit card of the aspirants will not be posted at their doorstep under any circumstances. Admit card is an important document so it must be taken out at the exam center on the exam day. Aspirants have to carry a valid photo proof ID card as prescribed by the authority along with the NCHMCT JEE 2023 Admit Card at the examination center on the exam day.
Step 1: First of all, open the official website of NCHMCT JEE 2023 and then search for the admit card link.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, the link to the admit card will be available.
Step 3: Now simply click on the link and after that, a page will be open where you have to enter your NCHMCT JEE 2023 credentials such as Application Number, Password, and Captcha code.
Step 4: Now, in order to proceed next, click on Sign In button.
Step 5: Once you will be signed in, the admit card of the NCHMCT JEE will resemble on the screen. Aspirants are advised to crosscheck the mentioned details carefully and if everything is correct then download the admit card for further references.
It should be remembered that no one will be allowed to the exam center without showing their photo proof identity card.
Aspirants have to download 2 copies of the NCHMCT JEE Admit Card because one of the admit card will be deposited at the exam center to the invigilator with a signature & both the records will be preserved and it will be required during the counseling process and the second one admit card will have to be carried out at the examination center.
Discrepancy: In case, if the aspirants find any discrepancy in the details of the admit card such as Name, Photograph, Signature, etc then immediately contact the authorities.
Note: In case, if an aspirant is facing difficulties in accessing the admit card and the Undertaking Form of COVID-19 then they can contact the authorities by writing an email, addressed to [email protected].

Availability: The authorities will make their efforts to allocate the preferred exam city of the exam to the candidates that they have opted in the application form. However, a different or nearby city may be allotted also due to some administrative reasons. Therefore it is suggested to the candidates to visit the allocated exam center one day before the exam date to avoid any last-minute difficulty.

After the publishment of the NCHMCT JEE result, the officials will publish the NCHMCT JEE 2023 cut off on its official website. The cut off will be published online. In order to crack this JEE exam aspirant have to clear the minimum cut off marks to get admission.
The cut-off will of NCHMCT JEE 2023 depends on several factors like No. of aspirants taken part in the exam, the level of the question paper, last year’s cut-off trends. Based on the NCHMCT JEE 2023 cut-off marks only, aspirants can appear for the counseling process.

NCHMCT JEE Cut Offs will be made based on minimum qualifying marks and the concerned rank of an aspirant in the Joint Entrance Exam. The opening rank, as well as closing rank of the NCHMCT JEE, will be issued for specific colleges/ institutes that accept the overall scores of the entrance exam of hotel management for all types of seats as mentioned above.

Just after the declaration of the NCHMCT JEE 2023 result, qualified aspirants have to appear for the counseling session to get admission. To appear for the counseling process, aspirants will have to register themself first. For the registration process, aspirants have to generate a login id first, and then after they have to give the personal details like Aspirant’s name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Category, etc.
After the completion of the registration process, the aspirants are asked to secure their choices for desired institutes depending on their performance in the entrance exam. Once they secure their choices then just after that they have to check the seat allotment result. Once the seats are allotted then the aspirants have to report to allotted centers with all the necessary documents for the verification procedure.

Step 1 – First do online registration for the NCHMCT JEE counseling process.
Step 2 – Then fill choices of colleges/ institutes and lock it.
Step 3 – Check the allotment of seats in online mode.
Step 4 – After the allotment report to the allotted center.
Step 5 – Complete the payment procedure for admission purpose.
Step 6 – If you don’t want to take admission in the allotted institutes then withdraw your admission.
Step 7 – After withdrawing, the refund will be processed as per the rules and regulations of the institutes.

After the above-mentioned process of counseling and locking the choices, the seat allotment procedure will be granted for NCHMCT JEE 2023. The process of seat allotment will be performed offline. Depending on the rank and filled choices, the seat allotment of the NCHMCT JEE 2023 will be performed. The seat allotment result of 1st round will be declared tentatively in the 1st week of July 2023. However, the 2nd, 3rd, and final round result will be declared in the 3rd week of July 2023.
