RIE CEE 2018: Application Form, Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Results

RIE CEE Overview

RIE CEECEE is the abbreviation for Common Entrance Examination, which is conducted by NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). Basically, RIE CEE offers admission to the candidates who wants to get knowledge in teaching courses offered at Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs).

RIEs has five main branches which are located in  Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysore, and Shillong.

Admission Forms of RIE CEE (Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Exam) will be released on March 2018 like every year.

Information regarding important dates, exam pattern, syllabus, admit card, result, application form, etc. are mentioned below in this article.

RIE CEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

A different course has different eligibility criteria:

BSc BEdCandidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics (PCM) subjects fulfill RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under Physical Science group.

Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects fulfill RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under Biological Science group.

Candidates should have cleared Class XII from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates).

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2018 are also eligible to apply.

BA BEdCandidates who have cleared Class XII in Science, Commerce, or Arts stream with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates) meet RIE CEE 2018 eligibility criteria for BA BEd course.

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2018 are also eligible to apply.

MSc EdTo meet RIE CEE eligibility criteria for MSc Ed course admissions, candidates should have cleared Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics subjects.

Candidates should have also cleared Class XII from a recognised board with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates).

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2018 are also eligible to apply.

  • Maximum questions will be 80.
  • Maximum Marks will be 160 marks.
  • Maximum Duration will 2 hours.
  • Question paper will be divided into three sections.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.5 mark for each incorrect answer.
  • Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

RIE CEE 2018 Application Form
  • The application will be available for the month of March 2018 and the Last Date for Submission of Application Form is May 2018.
  • When applying application online candidates have to upload the scanned photograph and signature in jpg format.
  •  Candidates can pay application form fees by via online modes like debit/ credit card or net banking.

Candidates can apply for RIE CEE 2018 exam in online mode as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Register on RIE CEE Website.

Step 2: Fill RIE CEE Application Form.

Step 3: Submit RIE CEE Application Fee.

Once fee is paid, candidates can print/ save the application form. If selected through RIE CEE exam, the printed application form along with all the prescribed enclosures need to be submitted to the respective RIEs at the time of admission.

RIE CEE 2018 Admit Card

All candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of the exam.

Admit is compulsory to carry in the examination hall.

Candidates must preserve the admit card till the end of admission process.

Candidates can follow the given simple steps to download admit card/hall ticket:

  • Visit the official link
  • Login by entering your Email ID, DOB & Roll No. or your Application Number & Verification Code.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Now, admit card displays on the screen.
  • Download and take the printouts of admit card for further references.

RIE CEE 2018 Results

Results of the RIE CEE will be declared on the official website of RIE CEE.

Results will be available to the candidates only in an online mode.

The result will not be personally sent by any authority to candidates.

The candidate has to keep printed copies of RIE CEE result for admission process.
