TS LAWCET Overview

TS LAWCETTS LAWCET  (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) is a state level examination conducted once in a year, in the month of May, in Telangana.

Many students seeking admission in law 3 year of 5-year courses get an opportunity to take admission in any government and private colleges of Telangana.

TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

The LAWCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

There is no age limit for LLB (3 years and 5 years) courses.

For LLB 5 year Course:

  • Students must have completed their class 12 with any board or any stream.
  • Candidates have to score 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates), which is the minimum percentage required to pass the examination.

For LLB 3 year Course:

  • Students must have completed their class 12 with any board or any stream + some graduation is also required.
  • Candidates have to score 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates), which is the minimum percentage required to pass the examination.

  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • Duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

TS LAWCET 2019 Application Form
  • The online application will start from the third week of March 2019.
  • It can only be filled online, no other options are allowed.
  • Fee
  • Rs. 350/- for General and OBC
  • Rs. 250/- for SC/ST categories
  • Photograph and signature must be uploaded in the prescribed format.

TS LAWCET 2019 Syllabus
  • Students knowledge of the basic principles of law and constitution of India will be tested.
  • Questions from general knowledge and current affairs will also be asked in the examination.

TS LAWCET 2019 Hall Ticket
  • Admit card will be released in the second week of May 2019.
  • Admit is compulsory to carry in the examination hall.
  • Candidates must preserve the admit card till the end of admission process.

  • TS LAWCET 2019 result will be declared in the month of June 2019.
  •  The rank card will be released after few days after the declaration of result.

TS LAWCET 2019 Counselling
  • Counselling will take place after the announcement of the result.
  • Seats will allot on the merit basis.
  • Counselling is only for the students who have passed the examination.
